BGE (Baltimore Gas and Electric) is implementing a program that provides free home energy check-ups designed to help customers save on their energy bills. This initiative aims to identify potential areas where residential energy consumption can be reduced, leading to lower utility costs. During these check-ups, energy professionals will assess various aspects of the home, including insulation levels, heating and cooling systems, and appliance efficiency.
Participants will receive personalized recommendations on how to optimize energy use and implement practical energy-saving measures. Additionally, customers may be eligible for free or discounted energy-efficient products, such as LED lighting, smart thermostats, and water-saving devices. By taking advantage of this program, homeowners can potentially lower their energy expenses while contributing to a more sustainable environment.
BGE encourages customers to take part in this program to maximize their energy savings and increase the efficiency of their homes. Interested individuals can schedule a check-up and learn more about the benefits of improving home energy performance by visiting BGE’s official website.
